I was recently asked to make a wallpaper version of my drawing of Beegirl as Quorra from Tron Legacy. I was concerned at first, since I drew the picture at a 500x750 resolution, but it turned out that their monitor was only 1280x800, so luckily it wasn't that big of a deal. This is when I had my wake-up call, that I need to draw my pictures in a higher resolution - that way, if somebody asks me for a wallpaper based on a drawing, my response won't be "I hope you have a tiny display."
