Remember when I said it would take a long time to compile the G/S ImPokédex wallpaper? I lied. I spent a significant portion of yesterday compiling this thing, and I'm still not sure if I included all 251 of them. In the first draft, I thought I had forgotten Qwilfish, and spent half an hour looking for it in there - the proverbial needle(fish) in a haystack. This wallpaper is 1440x900, but trust me, there's a much larger version if you want it.
This marks the official end of this chapter of the ImPokédex. In a severe lack of planning on my part, I had not been gradually adding the last 100 ones to the existing wallpaper. There will be a new wallpaper for the first 251 eventually, unless I find the task of managing that many layers in Photoshop to be the soul-crushing endeavor I fear it to be. In the meantime, the ImPokédex is going to be on a short hiatus, after which I will begin on the... ugh... Hoenn Pokémon.
This is the last entry to the Kanto ImPokédex, the "secret" Pokémon Celebi. Much like its predecessor Mew, Celebi is tiny, can fly, is psychic, and its name makes a lot of sense. Mew obviously gets its name because it looks like a pink kitten fetus, and plant-type Celebi has celery for antennae.

Just thought I'd let you all know that the supposedly awesome DS game Rhythm Heaven is part of today's Amazon Gold Box deal, and is only $12.98 for the next three hours, or until they run out - the latter will probably happen first.
Based on Lugia's abilities and where it lives, by all logic it should be a water/flying type instead of psychic/flying type, but then I guess it would be tough for it to have dominion over Zapdos.
It's somewhat interesting that this Impostor Tyranitar turned out looking nothing like the one I drew for Zeo's 8th anniversary. I wonder if anybody ever caught a Pupitar thinking it was a shiny Metapod, only to be scared half to death when, instead of a sparkling butterfly, a giant hate-filled Godzilla statue came out.
I recently watched Re: Cutie Honey. Considering the title, I was disappointed by the lack of bees in it... unless you count boo-bees. In case you've been wondering, I've been doing a lot of these scans recently because I'm too lazy to plug in my tablet, even though it's right next to my chair right now. And yes, that is a Potter Puppet Pal in the bottom right corner.
Today's my birthday, and having my sketchpad nearby and practically empty, I thought I'd make another page of little drawings, including Early Cuyler, the drummer bee from the Dundee bottle, and the Sniper caught in another awful toilet pun. Also, regular Minineko is now on the front page 3 times; start to worry.
I brought my sketchpad to Otakon, but only ended up making one drawing, or rather one page of drawings. There was a Mexican food restaurant by the convention center, and I drew a whole bunch of my usual things while waiting for the order to come up.

I got up to platinum status for Club Nintendo this year, and got the choice of a Mario hat or Doc Louis' Punch-Out!!, some exclusive WiiWare title. It was a tough decision, but I had to go with the hat. Not only do I probably not have room on my Wii for the game, but I couldn't beat up Doc Louis - he's the one Nintendo sidekick who isn't completely annoying.
I wonder if Smeargle's tail is like Charmander's, such that if the paint on it dries out, it dies.

This drawing is based on the cover from their first/best/only album You're A Woman, I'm A Machine with little elephant feet added to the bottom. My wish for them to be included in Rock Band is constantly foiled by their obscurity and lack of guitarist.

I took a break from the MS Paint marathon to post actual paint. This is a painting I did yesterday of a vase of flowers; it's done with acrylics, but I'm more accustomed to using oil paints, which are entirely different, so the painting didn't turn out that great.
As part of my seemingly never-ending collection of MS Paint drawings, I drew Weezing, the genetic abomination of the Pokémon universe. After I showed Elroy this drawing, he suggested that I draw the Pokémon that it involved into...
Weezer, the toxic Pokémon that sometimes wears a cowboy hat for some reason.
