Minineko Skeleton
I'm going into the archives for today's update. Back in 2007, there was only the one Minineko, and it wasn't that beady-eyed fake one. Much like the impostor, which I find myself drawing a lot more often, normal Minineko is pretty much an amorphous blob with a face and tail; for this reason, I thought it would be fun to give him a skeleton. Much to my surprise, he ended up being a creepy little monkey man under all that fur. Click the picture to the left to see the original drawing and just the skeleton.Wednesday, February 25, 2009
David Liebe Hart
Today's drawing is of David Liebe Hart, the ventriloquist who talks about aliens on Tim And Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! I really want to know where they find all those strange-looking people on the show.

Arnold Muk's Diagnosis
I had this drawing ready this morning, but I really didn't want to put up a third Arnold Muk drawing this week. It's nearing eight, though, and I needed to update. Surely the Internet will forgive me for such an atrocity, also for making Nurse Joy resemble Wendy.

Ash Catches Arnold Muk
If you thought normal Muk was the biggest pile of unwelcome affection, you've obviously never been chased by an Arnold Muk.

Accidental Devil
A few days ago, I was sketching a dragon, and at some point, I realized I was drawing a devil, and just went with it. In case you were wondering, he's impaling a permutation matrix with his pitchfork.

Super Mario World's Bob-Goombas
I was playing Super Mario World today, and I remembered how fundamentally flawed the Goombas were in that game; they had no midsection, and when you stepped on them, they just stopped moving, waiting for you to kick them around like in Wario Land. Turns out, their movements are just like those of Bob-ombs before they explode, which got me thinking - there are no Goombas in Super Mario World! Those round brown things are just defective Bob-ombs that Bowser painted to resemble Goombas. Overall, that ruse went on a lot better than the one the Koopa Troopas tried to pull by wearing Mario masks after you beat Special World.

New ImPokédex - Mareep
Ampharos was one of the first Pokémon they revealed for the G/S generation, and when everyone found out that it evolved from sheep... well, I don't think anyone understands it to this day. I don't think too much about that, and rather occupy my mind with more important things, like how the heck Remoraid evolves into Octillery.

New ImPokédex - Natu
Today's entry is of Natu, aka Indian Q*Bert. The comparison is especially apt when you consider that Q*Bert has to use every part of the level before continuing.

How Diglett Works
Since Natu is next in the ImPokédex, I got to thinking about tiny Pokémon. One of the smallest and most mysterious ones, of course, is Diglett. Is it really that small? What do they look like beneath the ground? It seems that at the center of the Earth, there is a nucleus Diglett, out of which all other Digletts and Dugtrios are formed. This nucleus Diglett forms the shorelines, erupts the volcanoes, and manipulates pretty much every other function of the planet with its millions of Diglett fingers. Creepy, eh?

New ImPokédex - Togepi
This evolutionary line seems content enough that Togekiss doesn't get angryeyes, but if I was any 4th generation Pokémon that evolved from a generation 1 or 2 Pokémon, I'd be pretty angry.

Clown Rankings
All other things the same, a sad clown is funnier than a happy clown, no question. All that clown drawing got me thinking, which of the below is funnier?

Nannerpus Loves You
Second post today - I figured that today's drawing should be more than 256 pixels large. The timing of that Denny's promotion yesterday was a bit silly, wasn't it? I don't know anybody who eats breakfast there during traditional breakfast hours (but maybe that was the point).

No More Valentines
It's that time of year again, when the Internet is repopulated with horrible video game puns disguised as valentines. I'm working on a few of them at the moment, and this is the first one, based on No More Heroes. Click the picture above for a more printer-friendly version, if you're one of the lucky few who have a significant other that wouldn't be completely horrified by receiving a valentine with bloody decapitation on it.

The World Swears With You
I've only recently started playing The World Ends With You. I'm currently on day 4, and haven't quite gotten a hang of the battles yet, but I'm looking forward to mastering them. The story's pretty interesting, and all of Neku's angsty swearing is kinda hilarious.Coincidentally, this was also my reaction to currently being last place in the Weekly Webcomic Wrapup poll.
