Uncomfortably Close to a Squirrel

A few days ago, I was taking some photos of things to draw, and I saw a squirrel. Usually, the second you approach or otherwise acknowledge them, they run away, but this one wasn't really moving. Well, it was moving, but mostly shivering and digging into the ground next to a tree. I took a lot of pictures of it, some of which were taken from inches away. On second thought, I'm lucky the thing didn't jump me and give me rabies.
