I've been looking forward to this one for a while. Even better, Meowth is next! That won't be tomorrow, though - I've been doing an awful lot of ImPokédex entries lately.

This Week's Comic - Castle Corrections

My experience with Castle Crashers so far has been pretty great, but in all fairness I've gone through most of the game solo. Trying to get into an online multiplayer game has been as difficult as Alien Hominid. Worse than disconnection, there's been freezing, and I've heard of someone's items getting deleted for some reason. Surely there must be a fix in the works, and that's where today's comic comes in. That second one is in intense pain, I can imagine. A much more profound type of pain than getting stepped on or slapped with a raccoon tail.

Nice Touch, Harmonix

I was playing through the vocal solo tour in Rock Band today, and found myself in a similar situation as I had been a month ago; dreading Green Grass and High Tides. Being the kind of impossible southern rock song that seems to end every one of these games, there's about 5 minutes where there's no singing, and that much tambourining would leave the palm of my hand looking like a waffle. For the vocal solo tour, they were kind enough to remove large chunks of the instrumental part, saving minutes out of my life which I would later use to make this post...

Dammit.

New ImPokédex - Zubat

It dawned on me while I was drawing this one - In the anime, Brock caught a Zubat, and both of them have no eyes. That can't possibly be a coincidence.

The Nameless Bassist

Today's drawing is of the bass player from the Guitar Hero games, and more distinctly one of the few characters that didn't turn into some horrible mutant or robot in GH3. Pardon the horrible bass-playing onomatopoeias.

EDIT: Damn, I didn't realize how similar this looks to my Travis Touchdown drawing from earlier in the week, right down to the hole in the left leg of the jeans. Oh well, at least it's not another cat.

When shaped like cats, Jigglypuff and Clefairy look very similar.

And Things, Well Things, They Tend To Accumulate

I am a collector. One of the things I like to gather is soda flavors that no longer exist. For a while, I had a veritable Noah's Ark of soda: Holiday Pepsi, Mountain Dew Pitch Black 1 and 2, Vanilla Coke before it was un-discontinued, Halo 3 Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper Berries & Cream, and most recently those 2 Dewmocracy flavors that lost (Supernova and Revolution). Even if they're terrible, knowing they won't exist any more makes me want them more, not unlike Creme Eggs every spring. 

Anyway, the cans recently started to explode; I'm now without Pitch Black 1 and Holiday Pepsi. It makes me ponder the whole futility of it all, since any of them could be next, and they're making a mess of the place. I'm moving soon and all the transportation is only bound to shake them up further. Am I not destined for beverage immortality?

Today's entry is of the original moon Pokémon, before they made that overly literal Lunatone. Couldn't give Impostor Clefable angryeyes, it's already got lines around them, and it can't be spaced out and angry at the same time

Travis is Dead Serious

One of the more amusing parts of No More Heroes is all the clothing you find in the trash. This includes a bunch of t-shirts you wouldn't expect anyone, much less a professional assassin, to ever wear.

New ImPokédex - Nidorans

Greetings, everyone from Joystiq! Today's update is a double ImPokédex entry. For those newcomers, the Impostor Minineko Pokédex is a regular feature of the site where I draw that small cat to the right as every Pokémon in order of National #. This gender-bending installation includes both of the Nidorans.

Why is the female Nidoran blue, anyway?

If you haven't noticed by now, the final evolved form of each Pokémon has angryeyes. It's like being able to learn Hyper Beam upsets them for some reason.

New ImPokédex - Charmander

Here's a new entry for the Impostor Minineko Pokédex: Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard. In cases where the Pokémon has no ears, they will instead be given tiny ears. Things that resemble ears can also be used in lieu of ears. You will hear more of these trivial rules as the ImPokédex progresses.

The Impostor Minineko Pokédex

Today I'm starting a new project, the Impostor Minineko Pokédex, aka the ImPokédex. Essentially, the plan is to draw the blog's quasi-mascot Impostor Minineko (pictured above) as every Pokémon, posted in order of Pokédex number. I'll be grouping them by evolution family, so that I don't have 500 posts by the time I'm done. Below is Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur.

Hopefully now you have a better idea about how I spend my free time. Trust me, this will get a lot more hilarious once I get to the Pokémon that look nothing like cats.
